And I thought it was about time I shared them with you. So these are the accounts that I stalk to find second hand clothes online. You can get some real gems, think Shrimps, Ganni, LF Markey to name a few brands.

For preloved furniture, homeware, clothing and accessories head to @pineandtreasure . Seller Katie, is based in Nottingham and curates preloved sales that go live on Instagram. I’m currently having a bit of a retro floral love affair, probably from a mini obsession with the clothing brand Rixo. So was delighted when Katie gifted me a fabulous 1980s floral blouse (see image at the top of this post). As well as selling second hand clothes online, keep an eye on her account for beautiful vintage glassware and rattan furniture.

It’s a trouve of treasures, incredible frilly dresses, pretty pastel blouses and cosy vintage knits. Visit the studio by private appointment only. As a customer myself I can promise you won’t be disappointed.

@salutolondon
“Clothes that last for decades not weeks” is how Hannah of @salutolondon curates her vintage pieces. She’s has her own unique style which you can see within her edits. I particularly enjoy following her as she reworks styles to make them modern and contemporary. Hannah also creates her own pieces such as reworked jackets and hair bows. Though there is a website, for the most up-to-date product view her Instagram feed and stories, as she holds Instagram sales regularly.

@eviga.eco
Eviga is Swedish for “eternal” or “everlasting,” which is such an antidote to the fast fashion we see on the UK high street. They’re a London base brand that were introduced to me by The re:directory which is a website you have to check out, but I digress. From Eviga you can expect classic high quality second hand clothes from contemporary brands such as Ganni, Isabel Marant & Sezane as well as classic designers such as Burberry & Chanel.

A Final Note About Buying Second Hand Clothes Online
And just before I finish, a small note. The most affordable way to buy second hand clothes online is directly from someone, for example through ebay, gumtree, charity shop or from a friend. But it can be quite time consuming. Often, you’ll pay more buying through a seller. But do keep in mind that they’ve done the hard work for you. The extra you pay covers their time and skill in searching and finding treasures and the repairs and alternations they have made.
