If you researched the catwalks and looked at our high street stores, then you’d quickly come to this conclusion: if you only buy one jacket this summer it should be a denim jacket. Christopher Bailey rocked Burberry Prorsum’s SS15 catwalk with denim jackets in a myriad of colours and textures, perhaps my favourite being an acid green version with a fluid tutu skirt (Click here for a photo).
But do you need to buy a new denim jacket? I’ve worked in the fashion industry for the past ten years, and without fail a denim jacket, in some form, has been sold every summer during that time. So in the interest of #sustainablefashion, how about you check out your nearest charity shop or vintage shop?
