As you’ll have heard me mention a few times, it’s Organic September. Today I thought I’d tell you about some organic haircare I’ve been using. A while back I got really excited about a new hair care range with no nasties. The brand was called Swell and if you can’t remember the post please click here to read it. To this day, whenever someone asks me to recommend a good shampoo I always mention Swell. Apart from the fact their three step system has no silicones and is 97% natural, it’s also amazing because I only need to wash my hair a couple of times a week, rather than every day. Essential.
But, with the hot summer we’ve just had, and the fact that I put far too much bleach in my hair, my hair became very dry. So badly that the ends started to spilt. For the past month I’ve switched to Organic Surge’s moisture boost shampoo and conditioner. It’s combination of Mediterranean olive and grape seed to soften and smooth the hair has done the trick. I no longer fear a trip to the hairdresser, where I’m admonished for neglecting to care for my hair.
If you want to understand why I think using organic products is so important, please read my post about it here.
