What type of kid’s clothes do you like? Sometimes it’s easiest to say what you dislike. I hate anything that makes Daisy look like a teenager, anything cartoony or anything too overly cutesy.
Little Green Radicals have just launched their new SS17 collection and it’s everything about kids clothing that I love. Pretty, child like and fun and with a good dose of unisex clothing to make it practical.
It’s also been given the Daisy seal of approval, which means she sleeps with this outfit under her pillow. Yes, all her favourite clothes live there, which has somewhat increased our basket of ironing!
Her Peter Pan collar top is made from a new organic fabric called “double cloth”, though made from cotton it has the weight and feel of linen, so perfect for summer. Come on sunshine!
Prints for this season include the Secret Seahorse, which Daisy’s trousers are in. I adore the mix of florals and sea horses in soft pastel colours. My other favourite print is in the Sail Away Collection. It features is a conversation print of seaside cottages and boats in traditional colours. Part of me wished Daisy were young enough to wear the bubble body in this print, it is seriously cute. Click here to take a peak.
All Little Green Radicals clothing is Fairtrade, so from a transparency perspective we can relax. A relief when Dispatches recently uncovered a factory making New Look jumpers who had paid their staff a mere £3.50 an hour. It makes me wish more companies were committed to paying their workers a fair wage.
Little Green Radicals makes affordable Fairtrade organic clothing for children aged 0-7 years. Check out their website here, or follow their story on Instagram.

Beautiful daisy! Just one thought though…Why do so many companies stop at around age 7? As if children suddenly don’t need gorgeous and ethical clothes….
Gorgeous outfit! I love little girls in Peter Pan collars.
