Living sustainably might not be as difficult as you think. There are some small, really easy lifestyle changes that will make a difference. One simple move I made was to ditch single use plastic bottles and replace them with a reusable version. Up until now I’ve just been filling it with water, but since the launch of Drinkfinity, that’s all changed.
Drinkfinity the drink
Drinkfinity is a new beverage that aims to be better for the planet and better for those who drink it. It comes as a reusable bottle with four different flavoured pods. The idea is that you fill your vessel with water, take a pod with you and when you want your drink, you simply release the ingredients into the water. Eh voila, you have a delicious drink!
The Pods
Each pod is suitable for a different mood of the day: there’s Charge, Flow, Renew and Chill. They are filled with real ingredients, both dry and liquid. My personal favourite is Charge, designed for ‘when your day asks for more than you expected’ which is a frequent occurrence when looking after two kids under the age of 4. It’s filled with acai extract, vitamin B, apple juice and blackberry flavour.
Better For The Planet?
I am actually seriously impressed with the thought that’s gone into ensuring that Drinkfinity is a sustainable brand. Drinkfinity’s aim is to produce pods with the smallest environmental footprint, and they are well on their way to doing so. They have installed technology at their factory to ensure that by 2019 Drinkfinity pods will be made entirely using clean energy, through solar power and natural gas. Once made the pods need to reach us, and due to their small size they are much more space efficient to transport than traditional soft drinks. Once used, Drinkfinity has teamed up with Terrarecycle to ensure that you can recycle your pods.
Better For Us?
So are Drinkfinity drinks really better for us? Without a doubt they are made free from artificial flavours and contain natural sugars. In fact they state that their drinks are ‘unapologetically less sweet’ However, I should point out that Charge does contain caffine from natural origin, but it is the only pod that does. All the pods are sweetened with natural sugars and contain a maximum of 33 calories per 250ml serving. So yes water would be a healthier option, but much less tasty.
With their focus on reusable bottles, recyclable pods and drinks for wellbeing, Drinkfinity are setting a new standard in the beverage market. Obviously the most environmentally friendly and healthy option is always just to drink the water available from your tap. But if plain water really isn’t your thing, or if you fancy a change, then add a little zing to your water with a flavoured pod from Drinkfinity.

Wow Karen this sounds amazing and I am off to take a look now.
I try to always take a drink out as I am spending way too much on drinks out and about.
Anything that may also be able to give me energy sounds like a win

Hi Kara,
It is so easy to spend lots on drinks out and about isn’t it and then you end up just throwing the bottles away, Drinkfinity is a great solution to this. Do let me know if you try them.
Thanks

This sounds like such a great new brand, i can’t wait to look into them further! I’m definitely someone who doesn’t drink enough water in the day and I much prefer the taste of fizzy water (even if it’s flat?!) to flat which makes the challenge even more difficult (all entirely self-inflicted of course…). Perhaps Drinkfinity is the answer!

Hi Eleanor,
I’m the same, up until recently I only drank fizzy water (flat too!) it was a pregnancy craving that stuck. I’m just a bit hopeless at staying hydrated so Drinkfinity has been great. Do let me know if you try them.
Thanks
