Call me a snob but I’m not a fan of dressing my daughter in anything remotely tacky. I couldn’t bring myself to buy her a Peppa Pig item of clothing (we own them but that’s just from clothes we’ve been passed down) and I really hate plastic toys & jewellery.
Which is why when Mia Mou asked if Daisy would like one of their necklaces, I said yes. They’re bright, fun chunky necklaces made from yarn, beads and have attached a sweet animal button. Handmade by a mum in Kent, they are childlike without being cutesy, and very appropriate for young girls. The necklaces come in a whole array of colours, and at £9.65 would make a great original party gift.
Daisy loves matching her necklace to the outfit she wears, and sometimes makes her Dad wear it too! Though sadly, I haven’t caught that on camera yet.
