It takes nine months to grow a baby and probably longer to get your figure back. A while back I admitted to you that I’ve been wearing a Belly Bandit, which is a spandy wrap, a bit like a modern-day corset. It claims to ‘help tighten and shrink your belly, waist and hips post pregnancy.’ The million $ question is, did it work?
The difficulty in answering this question is that I don’t know how my tummy would have looked/shrunk if I hadn’t used it. Plus there are lots more factors, like the amount of chocolate I ate (too much) & any exercise done (too little).
But when wearing the Belly Bandit, I loved the silhouette it gave my body, clean lines with a nipped in waist. Post birth everything just felt big and floppy. My boobs looked like something out of Bay Watch, and I had love handles a plenty. Whereas the Belly Bandit managed to smooth it all out. I looked better in my normal clothes and my confidence grew.
I also liked that it really supported my back, so I didn’t suffer from really bad back-ache. Post Daisy, I ended up lying on the floor most evenings to relieve the pain, and this didn’t happen. In fact the days I didn’t wear it I noticed my lower back started to hurt. So that alone was a huge plus factor.
So the results? Well, I’ve lost 4 inches off my waist and 3 inches off my top hip since using it (yeah!), which I’m really pleased with. Here are the before and after photos:

Ok so I don’t have a bikini body yet, but this is a good start. That said, I do really need to start doing some exercise and quit eating so much chocolate!
Whilst pregnant I used Belly Bandit’s Upsie Belly, designed to support the bump and reduce sciatica, to read the review of that please click here.

Please note Belly Bandit gifted the Belly Bandit Original to me, but all opinions are my own
When did you start wearing it? Right after or a few months later?

Hi Mel, I started wearing it a month after he was born x
Your belly looks great. Pretty bikini worthy.
