Name: Daisy Annabel
Age: 23 (and a half) months
Achievements: I sat still for an entire 15 minutes at a proper hair salon. Normally I act like I’ve got ants in my pants and can’t bear to be sat still for any length of time. Mum and Dad despair at trying to read me a story as I lose interest after a few seconds. But there was a super cute dog there who kept me entertained and it’s so nice having someone play with your hair. Plus mum put on some Teletubbies, my favourite, I mean what’s with this whole Peppa Pig thing? The lady cut my hair really short, a bit like a Pixie. It’s a radical improvement on my father’s attempt at a haircut, but I keep being told what a cute boy I am gurrrrr.
Developments: I’ve always been an expert at removing my shoes. Mum remembers the very first pair I lost, a mini pair of Nike trainers that I threw off in the pram. Thankfully they were super cheap as they’d been bought from an outlet centre. But I can now put shoes on. Ok so I struggle a bit if they have buckles, and sometimes mum tells me they’re on the wrong feet! But essentially, as far as shoes are concerned, I’m an independent lady now.
Oh and by the way, no potty training for me. We were going to do it at Granny’s house where there are wood floors and no cream carpets, but Granny had such a fun week planned, mum wisely abandoned ship.
Do you like my top? Mum won it in a competition from award-winning company Smalls. Like all the best companies it’s run by two mum’s Cat and E-J. It’s made from 100% merino wool, which means it keeps me warm in the winter and isn’t at all sweaty in the summer. Personally my favourite bit is the fluro pink stitching on the seams, also that it came with a sheep key ring, now how did they know Baa’s are my favourite animal?
