Name: Daisy Annabel
Age: 22 (and a half months)
Achievements: Mum is late again with this post; I will actually be 23 months in five days, which is nearly two whole years old. Now I am so grown up I’ve decided that I no longer need a sleep in the middle of the day. My parents definitely have other ideas and keep putting me in my room the same time every day (they are so predictable). So, I just play with my toys until I fall asleep in the midst of them. This doesn’t really please mum as she’s trying to keep our flat tidy, as we’re currently trying to sell it. But I am a child and need to play.
Developments Made: I am now totally capable of removing all my clothes and also my nappy. Generally it happens when I’m bored in the mornings. You see mum and dad are just so slow to wake up, the day starts when the sun rises which in my book is anytime after 5:30am. But they don’t want to talk to me until at least 7am. They don’t mind me playing quietly, but aren’t great fans of when I accidentally do a poo or wee all over the carpet. I’ve noticed they are trying to make it more difficult for me to remove, backwards nappies and clothes on back to front have all been tried. The other night they even stuck the nappy together with duct tape, now that was a challenge!
I’ve heard murmurings that mum might try to potty train me next week. That could be fun!
My mum is in love with the Little Bird range by Jools Oliver from Mothercare. She keeps going on about the retro vibe, bright colours and graphic prints that remind her of clothes she used to wear, and also that it’s so affordable. Today I’m wearing a ditsy floral printed blouse with marled leggings with my favourite Pisamonas sandals.
