Name: Daisy Annabel
Age: 20 (and a half) months
Achievements: Dad has nick named me Harry Houdini, I’m not sure why. Maybe it’s got something to do with the fact that, twice now, I have surprised my parents by appearing in their bedroom before they’ve even got out of bed. Yes it’s official, I’ve learnt how to climb out of my cot, so now there’s no stopping me.
Mum and Dad are trying to wean me off milk at 5:30am, so they’ve bought me a special clock that shows the sun when it’s milk time. The problem is there seems to be a long period between when I wake up and the sun comes out. Recently I’ve learnt to take my clothes off, and I one morning I discovered I knew how to take my nappy off. I thought mum would be very proud of me, but she didn’t appear best pleased at having to wash all my bedclothes. I may have done a big wee on it, oops.
Developments Made: I have a new obsession, choo choo trains. My parents took me on a steam train on our recent holiday to Devon, if you want to read about it click here. Anyway, I was captivated. I don’t think I’ve ever sat still for 30 minutes in my life. Fortunately, we live very near a train station and there is a bridge where mum and I can go and watch the trains go in and out of Finsbury Park, what fun! Mum is slightly worried I’ll become a train geek like my Grandad, but what does she know, trains are cool.
Most of the clothes I’m wearing this month are pre-loved and have been passed down from my older cousin Millie. I am particularly fond of the pink flower coat, mainly because it stops people telling my mum what a cute boy she has. The photos were taken on a recent trip to Hampstead Heath, and we went on a choo choo train, how exciting!
